Splashing Fun at Fasouri Water Park: A Perfect Family Day Out in Limassol

Our Amazing Day at Fasouri Watermania: A Family Adventure

As a UK expat mum living in Pareklisia, Cyprus, finding the perfect family activity is key. This weekend, we hit the jackpot with Fasouri Water Park in Limassol. With three children aged 1, 3, and 5, plus our dog and two cats back home, a day out needs to be something special to satisfy everyone. Here’s how Fasouri delivered and why it might just be your next favorite family spot too.

Arriving Early for a Day of Fun

We arrived just after 10 AM, right as the park opened, which made parking easy and the queue short. I highly recommend arriving early to get the best spot and maximize your day. The excitement was palpable as we stepped into the park.

The Perfect Spot: Orange Slides and Shade

We set up camp on deckchairs under the shade near the orange slides and climbing frame. This area was ideal for our kids. The 3 and 5-year-olds had a blast on the slides, and even our 1-year-old enjoyed going down with his dad. Having a shaded spot was crucial, especially for the little one’s midday nap in the pram.

Waves, Lazy Rivers, and Baby Pools

The wave machine was a ton of fun. We all loved the lazy river; it’s a great way for the whole family to relax and enjoy some together time. The baby pool with fountains was a hit with our 1-year-old, while the small water trampoline kept our 3 and 5-year-olds entertained for hours.

Lunch Break: Pizza and a Sneaky Beer

When it was time for lunch, we indulged in some delicious pizza. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing with the kids. To top it off, mum and dad sneaked in a beer, making it a true holiday treat.

Thrill for Dad: The Kamikaze Slide

My husband couldn’t resist the thrill of the Kamikaze slide. He had to take off his watch, a sign of just how intense it is. Our 3-year-old watched in awe, hoping to be tall enough for the bigger slides soon.

Top Tips for Fasouri Water Park

  1. High Visibility Swimwear: Our 3-year-old wore a bright orange swim top which was a lifesaver in the crowded pools.

  2. Sunscreen and Hats: Essential for protecting from the intense Cypriot sun.

  3. Early Arrival: Beat the crowds by getting there as the park opens.

  4. Photos: They take photos around the park that you can buy for €6 each. Pricey, but they captured some great memories.

Wrapping Up a Perfect Day

We stayed until 4 PM, although our older two could have stayed even longer. By midday, the park was full but still comfortable due to its large size. We left with tired, happy kids and plenty of memories.

For families in Limassol or visiting, Fasouri Water Park is a fantastic choice. It combines fun, safety, and convenience, making it a top pick for family adventures.
