Chester's Bar & Restaurant: The Perfect Mix of Fun & Family

Chester's has quickly become our family's weekly hangout, and it's easy to see why. The kids dive into their spaghetti bolognese from the kids' menu every time, while we indulge in everything from juicy steaks and burgers to the flavorful Mongolian pork chop and hearty pork knuckle. The portions here are massive, making it super easy to share an adult main between two.

Here's a cool perk: you can order from Zen, the place next door, and they'll deliver it right to your table at Chester's. It's like getting the best of both worlds without having to move an inch. Plus, the outdoor seating area is a dream. It's large, partially covered, offering lots of shade in the summer and cozy patio heaters in the winter. It's the closest vibe we've found to an English pub right here.

Bringing your dog along? They're welcome in the outdoor area. My husband can't get enough of the place during sports season, thanks to their big game screenings. And if you're up for a girls' night or a date night, Chester's won't disappoint. The burrata and carpaccio we had on a girls' night out were to die for, and the shisha on date night added a fun, exotic twist for just €35, with plenty of flavors to choose from.

Speaking of costs, the kids' menu is super affordable, with dishes around €6-€8, while adult mains range from €12-€25, making it a great spot for families looking to enjoy a meal out without breaking the bank.

We're all looking forward to summer to make the most of their awesome beer-friendly outdoor area. The staff are the cherry on top – always friendly, remembering us each visit, and they even bring out coloring stuff for our daughter, which she loves. Chester's has nailed the formula for a great outing whether it's for family meals, date nights, or hanging with friends. See you there next time!
