We fancied fresh fish.

Our friends recommended that we head to the authentic Fish Tavern of Agios Georgios Alamanou, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience.

Nestled in front of a breathtaking backdrop of white rocks and crashing waves, the ambiance alone is worth the visit.

But what sets this tavern apart is its exceptional hospitality and attention to detail, especially when it comes to catering to families. The gorgeous set-up for kids, complete with a bouncy castle and playground, ensures that little ones are entertained while parents can relax and enjoy their meal.

Speaking of the meal, the variety of delicious fresh fish dishes did not disappoint.

We opted for a platter, and every bite was tasty. The prawns were particularly outstanding—we couldn't resist finishing all 30 of them! Even the kids, couldn't get enough of the fresh fish and calamari.

After finishing main course, we treated ourselves to the ice cream bar, which offered assorted flavours. Our daughter went for strawberry and our son chocolate. It was the perfect way to end our meal on a high note.

At the time we didn’t know or realise that a complimentary dessert of fruits and pastry was on its way. We took this home to enjoy the next day.

Overall, dining at the Fish Tavern of Agios Georgios Alamanou was a truly memorable experience. We have heard that in season it can get fully booked, need to book in advance to be safe next time!

From the stunning scenery to the delicious food and family-friendly amenities, it's a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Cyprus with a side of seaside charm.
